Local Business Growth Initiative Launched

A new business support program has launched to help Trona’s local entrepreneurs grow and succeed. The initiative combines grant funding, business mentorship, and resources designed specifically for desert community commerce.

What’s Included

Small Business Grants - Up to $5,000 in non-repayable grants for businesses meeting program criteria. Funds can be used for inventory, equipment, marketing, or business development.

Mentorship Program - Connect with experienced business owners and professionals who understand Trona’s unique market. Monthly group sessions plus one-on-one guidance available.

Marketing Support - Free resources for digital marketing, social media strategy, and local advertising through Everything Trona’s platform.

Business Planning Workshops - Quarterly sessions covering accounting, operations, customer retention, and growth strategies.

Eligibility

The program welcomes sole proprietors, partnerships, and small corporations with fewer than 10 employees. Priority given to locally-owned businesses that serve Trona residents.
